The heart of the home is the large, beamed, farmhouse-style kitchen. It features solid oak units, Corian countertops, and a large range-style gas cooker with two ovens, a grill, and multiple hobs—perfect for cooking up a feast.

The Lounge

Relax and unwind in the spacious, bright, and airy lounge. With its wooden floors, two skylights, and four large windows, the room is filled with natural light. The easy-to-light wood-burning stove is the focal point, with two settees and a chair offering plenty of comfortable seating.

Woodlands Cottage is dog friendly - we provide lots of doggy extras to make you and your dog’s holiday comfortable and relaxed. Up to 2 dogs allowed

Woodlands Cottage is also perfect for kids too – there are toys and books to borrow, along and a shared park close by with swings and slides. There is a highchair, travel cot and stairgate.

Outdoor Space

Patio doors from the lounge open onto a private, sheltered patio—a perfect spot for alfresco dining. This leads to a large, south-facing private garden where you'll find a hot tub nestled within a gazebo, as well as a charcoal barbecue and garden furniture.

Keep everyone entertained with garden games like boules and croquet on sunny days.

Local Attractions

The town of Wellington is just a 10-minute drive away, offering supermarkets and a variety of independent shops, cafes, and takeaways. For a delicious treat, a nearby cafe (a 2-minute walk) serves freshly baked cakes and cream teas with far-reaching views of the Blackdown Hills. The dog-friendly village pub is also within walking distance and serves real ales and good food by an open fire.
